What is fanDOOM?

Basically it's when you get into a fandom you swore you'd NEVER be interested in. Either cos:

a) You hadn't actually seen/heard/read it yet and were judging by all the crazeh mofos already killing it. :stab:

b) You already HAD enough fandoms to keep up with. 'FORTHELOVEOFGODNOMORE!!!' Dx

c) I dunno. What's your story? :O

My personal experience was with Bleach. Why? Cos at first glance it seemed boring and the number of crazy fangirls milling about in it made me reluctant to touch it. ^^; Then I picked up a random copy at the library, saw the characters and went 'Ho, they're kinda hot' and kinda went from there. My shallowness knows no bounds! xDDD:heart:

.... Radom crazy makes no sence slash. I hated how they were killing my childhood. Now it's ind of funny. I am addicted now. I look it up now. For Chips Sakes my favorites are engulfed in them. And now I'm 10x more perverted and my current childhood is diminished. I defend the slash. DEFEND!

YES. Mine was Bleach too! :ohnoes: I was at Animazement last May ('06) and saw...like...12 Ichigos. o-o Not to mention other characters (Like you, I thought they were just a bunch of overzealous fanatic idiots, so I didn't care to take note of WHICH characters...XD)
Anyhow, Nekocon '05, they had a sampler manga in the bag along with the con program, so I flipped through it. I read the first chapter of Bleach, and thought it was the dumbest thing ever and that it made no sense...

Let see...I guess my was FMA, actually...I didn't watch it until a friend let me borrow the movie. Although, I had to watch the series to get the movie and well, it stuck^^;

To be quite honest, I've never been a fan of slash either. But my god if some of these OCs don't make me giggle. I have you and some other friends to thank for that ;) Lol
