Preview/Wallpaper/Random scene thingy for my upcoming AU fanfic: Dancing to the Wedding Drum.
Titled after the initial draft opening for the movie. Kocoum was adorable! [link]
Summary: It will basically feature the pair from their early teens to young adulthood, overcoming all the obstacles of an arranged marriage, learning to cope with each others' inate differences, and somehow dealing with falling in love.
It'd be an adventure in itself really. So here's hoping I can do it right. |D I love opposite pairings. John and Poca were like kindred spirits in their love for adventure and the like...but Kocoum is far from her ideal man. So the challenge is "making it work". >D

This has to be one of the hardest things I've ever drawn. I actually went and bought the DVD for refs. XD;; The background was a bitch UGH
and I had to hand-draw that little logo at the bottom...cos I couldn't find a damn font for it. If you have one...TELL ME. D8<
But I like the end result. Especially how Poca is so slender and curvy next to Kocoum. <3 Yeah. I know her necklace is missing...its cos this scene isn't set during the movie timeline. YET.
PS. To John/Poca fans, it's not that I don't like the pairing, I like all Disney canon couples...it's just that I think more fun could be had with THIS pairing. 8D;
