So I was finally going through all the books :icondoddle-bug: sent me ages ago...and I get to #31 and I break down wibbling. GODDAMN. I don't know how they can call this a kid's series...some of the stuff is just way too dark. D: Srsly, you don't really notice these things until you're older.

ANYWAY. Who else read this as a kid? I for one am enjoying the blatant 90s references. :heart: I've had a crush on Marco since I was, what 9? XD That's more or less half my life. 8D;;

I...did this surprisingly quickly. I've been meaning to do Animorphs fanart for awhile now but I just never had the inspiration for it until today. Hopefully I can do some more soon.

The breakdown of Jake and Marco's friendship was [to me] one of the saddest in the series. They were still best friends in the end, but they weren't as tight as they used to be. But they were totally BFFL, despite being so different and all, which is why I liked their dynamic so much. You know, the Leader and the Prankster, like Batman and Robin, as Marco once said. XD I think they're my fave best friend duo out of all my fandoms. :nod:

I am also thoroughly convinced that Marco has a huge boycrush on Jake but we won't go there today. XDDD

Marco/Jake = OTF/OTP. :heart: The best part? It works either way. >8D I have a thing for BFFs who are torn apart by circumstance i.e. Sirius/James [HP], Riku/Sora [KH], Axel/Roxas [KH2]... |D

Dude, I totally read a few of these and I barely remember it.

XD OMG, so cute! I had about fifteen of those books when I was younger. Still do, somewhere. In a box at my parents' place, I think. I should ask them to send the rest of my books over, now that I'm thinking about it... but I digress. ^^;

Excellent pic! Jake and Marco were always so hilarious. XD Especially Marco. He was like, the comedy relief in a surprisingly angsty series. (I BAWLED at the last book. I couldn't help it. T_T)

I love Marco's expression. And his hair. And the colouring. And, well... all of it. ^_^ You rock for doing this.

I loved reading that as a kid, and I got way more out of it when i read the series over again last year. It was a good series no matter what anyone says.
